The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists (OBMT) is located at 610 Hawthorne Ave, Suite 220 NE, Salem, OR 97301. They may also be reached at 503.365.8657. The Board administers the practical examination that a candidate must successfully pass to become a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and practice massage in the state of Oregon. Applicants for Oregon licensure must also pass the written MBLEx or NCETM exam. Taken in its entirety, AIM’s program prepares the candidate for both the practical and written exams. Both exams are administered throughout the year. The OBMT practical exam is administered in Salem; the MBLEx and NCE exams are administered online in a variety of cities.

AIM is an approved school for pre-licensing massage education in the states of Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona. While AIM meets the hourly educational requirements for many states, you must check directly with specific states regarding how this program fulfills their requirements for licensing or massage practice.

AIM is licensed as a private career school by the Oregon Department of Education.
